What is it?

This project aims to shine a bright spotlight on new and engaging books and reading across the city!

During 2025-26, every maintained Leicester City school will receive a box of poetry books and resources/activities to use with pupils throughout school. The exciting new books will be from a range of authors and can be used as part of reading alone, whole class teaching, in the library or at home!

We also feel that this project enables teachers to engage as readers too, whilst introducing new titles and authors.

What does it involve?

Leicester City maintained schools can take part for no additional cost. (This project is not open to other schools)
