What is it?

This project aims to shine a bright spotlight on new and engaging books and reading across the city!

Each participating school will receive a box of books and resources/activities to unveil with pupils throughout school in November, linked to Non-Fiction November. The exciting new books will be from a range of authors and can be used as part of reading alone, whole class teaching, in the library or at home!

We also feel that this project enables teachers to engage as readers too, whilst introducing new titles and authors.

What does it involve?

Maintained schools can take part for no additional cost. (This project is not open to academies)

To take part in 2024/25, bookings close Friday 6th September 2024.
